Founding Family: Frequently Asked Questions
The Opening & Campus
When will the campus be ready for site tours? While construction is currently underway, we will be hosting “Vision Tours” and Hard Hat previews starting in [Insert Month, e.g., October 2025]. In the meantime, families are invited to our Admissions Suite to view our interactive 3D models and virtual reality walkthroughs of the world-class facilities.
What happens if there are construction delays? As part of the established Reigate Grammar School International network, we have rigorous project management in place. Our opening schedule includes a significant ‘buffer’ period to ensure the campus will be fully operational, safe, and welcoming for our first day of term in September 2026.
The Founding Experience
What are the benefits of being a “Founding Student”? Being a pioneer at RGS Istanbul is a unique honour. Founding students will have the historic opportunity to name our Houses, design our first student publications, and establish the traditions that will last for centuries. They will also benefit from an exceptionally high teacher to student ratio during the inaugural year.
Will all year groups open at once? For September 2026, we will be welcoming students from EYFS through to Year 5. This allows us to ensure a strong, focused community from day one, while we grow toward a full capacity.
Admissions & Fees
Are there special incentives for Founding Families? We recognize the trust placed in us by our first cohort. We will offer a bespoke Founding Family Fee Structure for those who enroll before [Insert Date]. Please contact our Admissions Team for a confidential discussion regarding these exclusive terms.
How will you assess students before the school building is open? Assessments will be conducted at our dedicated Admissions Suite or through secure online platforms for international families. These sessions will be designed to be welcoming and low pressure, allowing our Headmaster Duncan Silcock and his team to get to know each child’s unique potential.
